A koala is a cute, tree-dwelling marsupial known for its fuzzy coat and fuzzy ears. It's also very cuddly and affectionate towards humans. Koalas eat mostly eucalyptus leaves and spend most of their time sleeping. They are native to Australia, where they live in forests and woodlands. Unfortunately, koalas are endangered due to deforestation and other human activities. They are considered threatened in both Queensland and New South Wales.
